Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@610recordmfg.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Our Process:

  1. Artists or record label representatives
    submit a mastered recording
designed for vinyl pressing, along with their artwork, usually in digital format.
However, we accept all audio formats.
  2. The audio is sent to create a master
lacquer and stamper plates, while the
    artwork is prepared for printing.
To kick off the ordering process,
    we require a 50% deposit.
  3. Test pressings are made, and artwork proofs are sent to the customer for approvals.
  4. Once everything is approved and the
remaining balance is paid, the records
    are manufactured, packaged, and ready
    for delivery or pickup.

Recommended Maximum Length Per Record Side:

  • 12-inch, 33 1/3 rpm:  20 minutes
  • 12-inch, 45 rpm:  12 minutes

Going over these time limits may result in the volume and sound quality of your records being compromised. For any records longer than 22 minutes, the financial responsibility of any re-cuts will be yours (the customer).

Electroforming aka electroplating, is the process of creating metal parts (stampers) from master lacquers for the replication of vinyl records.

No. All printing is outsourced to our preferred vendors. They're good folks who do good work. You're artwork is in good hands.
